Hello from Hurotics.

Hurotics has signed an industry-academia cooperation memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Hallym Polytechnic University!

The signing ceremony took place at Hallym Polytechnic University. Professor Ilyoung Moon of the Department of Physical Therapy and Jinhee Kim of the Hurotics Medical Business Division signed the agreement on behalf of the two institutions.

As we went through each item in the agreement, specific questions came up naturally, such as how H-Medi could be covered in physical therapy classes and when would be the best time for students to get hands-on experience with the device. It was a chance to hear firsthand how people in healthcare education see Hurotics' technology, and what it means to bring that technology into the process of teaching.

The agreement was made so that both institutions can grow together through close exchange and train skilled professionals with practical expertise. For Hurotics, we expect joint research to strengthen the clinical maturity of our core technologies, curricula and internships to connect us with future therapists and engineers, and shared use of equipment to give students hands-on experience with the H-Medi soft exosuit.

Hallym Polytechnic University has produced practice-oriented professionals for industry in healthcare and engineering fields, including through its departments of physical therapy and nursing. H-Medi is ultimately used in hospitals and rehabilitation settings, and the people who drive those settings are physical therapists. Partnering with the place where so many future physical therapists gather was a natural choice for Hurotics.

Through joint research and infrastructure exchange with Hallym Polytechnic University, Hurotics plans to improve the clinical maturity of its core technologies, including its multi-joint control algorithm. At the same time, through field training and internship programs, we will discover and develop talent who understand both robotics and rehabilitation systems. We look forward to a virtuous cycle in which research develops people, and those people in turn move research forward.

If you are a student at Hallym Polytechnic University or are considering a career in rehabilitation robotics, we hope you will keep an eye on Hurotics' internship and hiring news. Hurotics will continue to grow its soft exosuit technology together with experts in medical and rehabilitation settings. We will be back with more news soon. Thank you!
