Hurotics Wins Excellence Award at Scale-Up Final Pitching at Try Everything 2026, Drawing Attention from Global Investors

- Won the Excellence Award at the Scale-up Center final pitching competition, officially recognizing its technology and business potential

- A steady stream of VCs and institutional investors tried H-Medi, leading to follow-up meetings with many investors and partners

- Announced plans to expand its global business with a roadmap for customized exosuits that address a variety of conditions with a single device

Hurotics Inc. (CEO Giuk Lee), a wearable robot company, announced that it successfully completed its exhibition at Try Everything 2026, a global startup festival held on September 9 and 10 at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul, where it took part as an "exosuit (next-generation wearable robot) company for medical, senior and leisure sports applications." In particular, the company won the Excellence Award at the Scale-up Center final pitching competition hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Business Agency (SBA), drawing strong interest from global investors.

At the event, Hurotics presented a highly scalable business model spanning medical, senior and leisure sports applications, led by its soft exosuit H-Medi, which is built on the company's core technology. Recognized for the technical maturity and market potential of its next-generation wearable robot, Hurotics won the Excellence Award on the Scale-up Center final pitching stage after a fierce competition, confirming its business competitiveness.

The Hurotics booth drew a constant stream of startup ecosystem participants, including venture capital firms and accelerators from Korea and abroad. Investors who joined the meetups tried H-Medi for themselves and praised its soft form factor without a rigid frame, as well as its distinctive control algorithm, which recognizes specific gait events in real time and delivers tailored assistance. As a result, in-depth discussions took place on site with a number of global investors, and many follow-up meetings were arranged for business expansion.

The business results Hurotics showed at the event rest on a solid foundation. Following three consecutive CES Innovation Awards in the robotics category, the company recently published studies on multi-joint control mechanics and on clinical effects in older adults in IEEE TBME and IEEE TNSRE, leading journals in biomedical engineering and rehabilitation. H-Medi has been adopted by leading medical institutions in Korea, including Severance Hospital in Sinchon, and is actively used in the rehabilitation of patients with brain lesions and age-related gait disorders.

Building on this clinical foundation, Hurotics clearly presented to investors its direction of evolving toward a "customized exosuit" that keeps a thin, lightweight single-device form factor while adapting to various gait impairments and user conditions through flexible changes to its algorithms and software alone. Through this, the company plans to lead a next-generation wearable robot ecosystem that extends beyond medical settings into senior care and leisure sports.
